ZERO KILOMETRE POINT there is the center of Yogyakarta city. Exactly in front of a Post Office in Yogyakarta. From here starts the count distance from the city of Yogyakarta to the city - other cities throughout the island of Java. During the colonial Dutch East Indies, the Governor-General Daendels introduce the use of Post Road. The highway route is by measuring the distance that has regular checkpoints along the street or post office on the island of Java.
